So... any thoughts on why? In my area the pastures and hay fields are gone, and the corn is severely stunted. If we don't get rain this fall I will be looking to move my herd to N.C. by February if not sooner. I now have a better understanding of what Texas producers have been experiencing.

Very bad here to. did get 1/2 inch ast night but that will not do much good. Already feeding hay. have not supplemented with anything else yet though. did get a good hay crop and can put cows on the hay fields that came back alittle before the rain stoped. hope the market does come back. I think i have enough hay to keep the cows and calves this winter but dont know if I can if we have another drought next year.
